Natural Dye Mordants, Fixatives and Additives

Natural Dyeing Safety Gear
Natural dyeing is a great way to use plants and natural organic materials to create beautiful colors. However, there are still some safety precautions to take in order to avoid health problems due to dye powders, mordants, and regular exposure to dye evaporation and mordants.
Natural Dyeing Books
One of my favorite places to do research in the library, especially my personal library. Over the years I have collected some fantastic natural dyeing resource books and inspirational books to fill my fiber arts library with and reference whenever I need some motivation or the answer to a question. Here I have shared some of my favorites.
